A part of Varnsdorf, the village is situated on a plateau by the crossroad of old commercial trails.
The landmark of the village is St. Francis of Assisi Church built in the 1870s in the New-Romanesque style. Behind the cemetery is a hill called Valy with remainders of a Swedish fortification wall built during the Thirty-Years War. In the west part of the village is the Křinice River spring.
