Czech Road

A road of historical importance - an old merchant trail from Bohemia to Saxony. At one time it was also the border of the forest districts belonging to two neighbouring manorial estates: those of the Clary-Aldringen and Kinský noble families. Several old border marks and dates on the surrounding rocks come from that era. The road runs through the deeps forests from Vysoká Lípa to the Křinice Canyon to enter enters Saxon territory in the former village of Zadní Jetřichovice. At present, it is a popular cycling trail.
